Armory Sound is commercial recording studio located in the basement of the historic Armory builing in Somerville, MA USA. The Armory Building is located a few blocks the road from Somerville City Hall, and is 15 minute walk from Davis, Porter, and Union Square.


Hi-n-Dry was a Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA-based independent record label and recording studio. Founded by late Morphine singer and bassist Mark Sandman. Once located in Sandman's former loft apartment (now the Industry Lab in Cambridge), the studio moved to the Somerville Armory Arts Center in Somerville, Massachusetts in December 2007 under the care of Andrew Mazzone. Hi N Dry was renamed Armory Sound in February 2013.


Morphine was an American alternative rock group formed by Mark Sandman, Dana Colley, and Jerome Deupree in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1989. In 2016 Vapors of Morphine released their album "A New Low".
